I think you meant Clayton Kershaw. The NL leader in wins, on a team that scores the least runs in the game. Also, the league leader in strikeouts and era. It would be a crime if he didn't win. Best stats in the NL by far.

In most years, yes, he is a good choice. Not this year. There are pitchers with much better stats.
