Races over in MLB?

Not many races remaining in MLB. With less than 20 games remaining in the regular season, the closest race appears to be in the AL East where Boston and New York are fighting for the divisional title. The team that loses the title will be the American League wild card entry. No races in the NL.

Not Even close. I would hardly call the AL West race over. Texas has only a 2.5 game lead with 20 to go and the last 3 games of the season, Texas plays at Anaheim. Texas has also played 1 more game than the Angels. The Yankees & Red Sox are in a race as well, with only a 2.5 game lead there. Winning the division means something. To say it is not a race is incorrect.

Angels 1.5 games back. Looks like you were wrong Rob. We have a great race going down to the wire.
