A 9 inning game takes 3 to 3 1/2 hours to complete. What would you suggest to speed them up?!?

Here's My Take: "no let them play out as they are supposed to. If you dont have the time, dont watch." MYT

Here's My Take: "I can remember games when Bob Gibson pitched 9 inning in less than 2 hours. Of course there usually weren't many people hitting or walking..." MYT

Here's My Take: "Enforce the rules on the batters stepping out on the pitcher. But it is really the pitcher - take a look at Mark Buerhle of the White Sox and his time. He gets the ball and pitches. Not a lot of wasted time." MYT

Here's My Take: "the batter must step in the box and stay there... stop the adjusting of the batting gloves every pitch.." MYT

Here's My Take: "It has to be from pitchers working more quickly, and keeping batters in the box. They are not going to cut a commercial so hustle between innings is not a factor. A number if things slow them down. Putting in a new ball every time the one they are playing with hits the dirt and now the replays hurt" MYT

Here's My Take: "Short of creating a pitch clock i dont see any changes.A good pitcher will always shorten a game especially one that likes to work quick.Runs ,bad pitching and foul balls are the usual culprit for long games. If they expand instant replay forget it!" MYT
